So, niche websites are the craze these days. A lot, and I do mean A LOT, of webmasters have decided to create a lot, and again I do mean A LOT, of niche mini-sites embedded with their AdSense code. There is a good reason for this, of course. If one website – just one website – can fetch an average of $10 a day, which is quite small by today’s standards, what more when one webmaster has 10, 20 or even 50 websites? How much profit can those web pages generate in a day? In a month? In a year?
The problem, however, is that everyone seems to be taking this route. Soon enough, each known market will be saturated, and a faster rate at that, given the sheer number of online entrepreneurs opting for this strategy.
Hence the need for a new approach to gain the traffic that you need, and more importantly, the clicks that will give you the money.
So what can be done which has not been done before? Or at the very least, what can be done which only a few people are doing?
Have you tried creating your own search engine?
Having your own search engine will effectively make you a traffic middleman. Basically, your visitors will just need to use your service for their queries. The results you’ll fetch will come from the many search engines on the internet.
But here’s the clincher.
Since technically, you’ll just be using the search engines’ systems on YOUR page, you can customize your page anyway you want.
Think about it.
What if you’ll integrate your AdSense code in those pages? In both the search page as well as the results? What if you’ll position your own web pages to appear at the very top of relevant queries for particular keyword searches?
Not a lot of people are doing this as of the moment, which is a shame because it is an excellent strategy that will surely rake in a lot of profit. There are scripts available that will allow you to create your own search page, using the technology present in search engines. Just take a look at www.uncoverthenet.com and www.lubz.com . Study how the model they have employed.
See the potentials there?
Here’s the deal: all you have to do is to drive traffic to your own search engine. You can do this through some clever marketing. You can call your website as the “exclusive search engine for IT professionals,” for example, or even as “Zimbabwe’s official search engine page.” You’ll be defining your market, and in turn, your market will associate themselves with you.
This will give you the faithful traffic that you will need.
If you have some niche websites, adjust the script so that your websites will appear on the top spots for every relevant search engine query. This will give those websites the visitors they will need. But this isn’t your bread and butter.
Google ads will also appear on search results. And since your search results will be based on the keywords that your visitors will use, so will your Google ads. The results? Highly relevant ads displayed on the search results pages which will give you better chances of winning some clicks!
Again, this isn’t a tactic that many people are using. It is a novel and efficient way to profit a lot from Google AdSense. Additionally, you can also cross-promote some affiliate links in the form of pre-programmed ad links of your own design. The possibilities are endless!
In an industry where it is always a constant race to come up with something new, you have to jump into the most profitable opportunity you will find as soon as you can. Having your own search engine is one such opportunity.
